Hello Team's Managers, The premier Division 2008 Tournament have come to an end and the WSL Premier Division Champion is: NACAO Azul F.C.
this year again. Congratulation to Nacao Azul for their first Championship Title and theNacao Azul F.C. defeated Colombia F.C. 3-0 in a very exciting match played at Dillon Stadium with about 300 to 400 spectators in the stands. In the First Half both team were playing careful like any other final game both teams crafting their rival and looking for any mistakes in both sides it was more of midfield game. In second Half first 15 minutes more of the same but Nacao Azul was the first to score in a very unlucky play for one of the Colombia defender that kick the ball into his own goal when goalkeeper was coming out to grasp the ball. That goal put Nacao Azul ahead 1-0. This goal changed the game tactic imposed by Colombia who came out more to challenge the Nacao's Defense but Nacao's defense were very concentrated and limited Colombian's offense to score. Then it a penalty was giving away by the Colombian defense that Nacao Azul scored to make 2-0 and almost to the end of the game Nacao Azul score another Goal and 3-0 was difficult for the Colombian's teams to over come. It was a very good game, I have not seen a very competitive game like the one I have witnessed yesterday and both have demonstrated that both teams deserved to be the Champion this year. Very unfortunate for Colombia that it did not work their way but they should be proud of themselves for such accomplishment and for returning to play the final this year again.
Congratulation to Nacao Azul F.C. for their first Championship Title and it is well deserve it.
